ABOUT DM PUBLIC SCHOOL

Sri Durgamohan Acharya was a good man in the true sense of the term. He was born on 26-4-1925 and died on 5-1-2014. He was a man of principle, honest, truthful and hardworking.He was our friend, philosopher and guide. He was not confined himself within his family but stretched his hand for the help of down-trodden. Simple living and high thinking was his motto. . For his positive attitude he was loved by everybody. He was a learned man and cherished for building the new future of the next generation as productive and ideal citizen. This project is a part of his dream.

DM Public School is a unit of Durga Mohan Memorial Trust was established in the year 2015. It was named after the name of Late Durga Mohan Acharya, father of Udaya Shankar Acharya and father-in-law of Chairperson, Smt. Nayantara Acharya. Durga Mohan Acharya was born on 26.04.1925 and died on 05.01.2014. During his lifetime, he was associated with many social activities of this locality. His thought and expectation were always inspiring others to do something new for the benefit of society. This institution is his dream child. It was established as a co-educational school to meet the needs of boys and girls in this area by providing quality education to them. Now the school is nurturing around 500 students and raised to a reputed secondary school of the city, affiliated to CBSE, Delhi. Our first batch of class X students are going to appear the CBSE Board Examination in the year 2021.

We are committed to provide Value Based Education to the students of our school, so that they can be distinguished in a group in every respect.
